Brave Wilderness follows adventurer and field zoologist, Coyote Peterson and his crew into the harshest environments on the planet as they use primitive means and basic survival equipment to track, capture and document the most dangerous, elusive and misunderstood animals known to man.

In each episode the team is deployed into a remote location with minimal supplies and a deadline. Their mission: to track down and experience an extreme encounter with the environment’s apex predator before returning to the drop off point for extraction. Using instinct, basic survival tools and the environment to their advantage, Peterson and company use innovative techniques to construct a variety of primitive ‘no-harm’ traps or scenarios that will allow both the team and the cameras closer than anyone has ever been.
